Michael Simmons Write Entrepreneurial Book

6/03 - Michael Simmons, a junior at the NYU Stern School of Business, has written a book called The Student Success Manifesto targeted at college students. Pulling from his experiences as a student entrepreneur and extensive research, Michael hopes to spark the entrepreneurial mindset in students and
inspire them to pursue their own vision. “I learned so much from starting a company and doing research that I felt like I had to share what I had learned. So many students follow the norm, and I wanted to show students how they could blaze their own path,” said Michael.

Michael co-founded a web development company in high school that was rated the #1 web development company in the country by YoungBiz Magazine
in 2000. Additionally he has won the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship Youth Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the Fleet Youth Entrepreneur of the Year Award for New York City among other awards.
